係我今生第一部RC模型 , 至今我都仲非常喜歡佢
它的魅力非凡 , 當年個個都玩田宮1/10的F1, 1/12的司力架,林寶堅尼及Associated的RC12E,
我就係偏偏鐘意馴馬師

點知個防水倉因為冇"唧"果支原廠提供的防水gasket, 整到入晒水, 個接收同兩個
servo都入晒水

仲記得當時係向太子"長城模型到買, 套控就向偉高買既.

I bought it at YMT sun sing, $310, and didn't allow me use the couple in model world., futaba T2L and Sun Sun, $310, at the time just release, 78 or 79??

Plus tiger c hing, had back to hobby, ask guys in german, they say the one they saw also use flex shaft, extend the counter gear shaft, the shaft use in tooth tools, (you should good in it?!

), must use catch bearing there to prevent loosing of the shaft structure., catch bearing in front also. they will following the RS # late next week.... heeee

This is real classic, I upgraded form this model to Supershot since the suspension kit available in the market. Then I was proudly owned a Hotshot with Supershot preformance!!

Was the Sand Scorcher more popular than the Rough Rider back in those days? My first RC car was the Super Champ and I had seen a few Sand Scorcher running but never seen the Rough Rider in the past.

No lah, this ball diff was made by thorp. About 2002, a group of hobbyist at another website remade this in South africa, cost USD$55 each but now, you are lucky to find one for >USD$100

Yes ! 新星 is copying Thorp's diff. I bought 新星 diff before but the centre screw is not strong enough....@@ Finally I bought Thorp at $2xx

... except my Intruder ex, inturder, yokomom BX4, mugen bulldog....

my thorp differential last quite well, I have been running it and only loosened once.

I had the thorp and MIP SRB diff, MIP gear was made of aluminium, a little too soft

. Thorp is difinitely better and more sturdy.

Mip 4wd or not, I am happy with the SRB. Just need a drift gyro to take the oversteering out.

I got the same problem in my optima mid........the plastic middle gear in the rear gear box......which is connecting to the centre shaft gear above & the diff gear below........is so weak that it will worn out after a few packs of battery.........even I changed to some after-market aluminium gear......still not much better........

Mip 4wd or not, I am happy with the SRB. Just need a drift gyro to take the oversteering out.

May be you need to change to metal gear. BUt need to match or need to modify from smiliar gear.
