Luckily got some spare time to have Lipo-cell testing this afternoon.^^
Have tested 2 packs of 1S-lipo again which gave the mean play-time around 12min20sec.
Same ESC setting as previous.

Hi, as mentioned at #117 or you can see details as follows. Roll-out is about 41mm/rev ^^

Today's test run:-
Have tested the 1S-lipo again
29/1/2010 at JV, 2-4pm
Timer by 4PL, count down for 10min
race start and on going...
Finally I turned my car back to pit area before the ESC lipo-cut activated.
Then, stopped the timer on 4PL and it is found that the reading is around +2min30s, which means the play time is about 10min+2min30s = over 12min30s when using
SXX v2 with 4.0T, ESC setting 1,3,0,0
gear ratio 24/96
Front tire: Xceed medium (dia. before run, about 44.5mm)
Rear tire: Speedmine 30R (dia.before run, about 52.4mm)

and the second run time is about 12min48s. ^^
I need one more set data to justify the play time for using 1S-lipo in JV and I hope to do the same test on the coming pro ten as well ><

Normally for playing at asphalt like JV, I will set the ride height about 4.5-4.8mm, both front and rear.
Also, I will use tire addictive, full on rear, outer half on front. No spinning issue by far.
Have tested on the first few times that the temp. on both ESC and motor is about 40-45DC. It is not high. Now, I only temp them by hand after play ^_^. Checked by myself and other Ching, the temp is not high.
Yes, I will drive via pit shop like touch and go and only some occasion, will stop for 1-2 times within 10s (will get tired since we can't play like robot ^_^). But this have been deducted from the total play time.
So, this run times is for reference only and it would be varies from different players.

I follow the roll-out calculation as follows:

52mm x 3.1416 x 24 / 96 = 40.84mm per revolution

In theory, with the same roll-out of 2 cars, the higher the revolution of a motor, the more the forward distance of the car. ^^

    Yes, according to the technical spec, the recommend rollout for 1/12 car when using 4.0T would be smaller than 29mm/rec.
    But, in a large and high-speed asphalt track like JV, it is okay.

My one is not completed yet. I may try testing my X10_LE by using the ESC and motor from my 12 son.

Have replaced the plastic pivot ball (item 56) by Bronze lower arm ball (which is the upgrade part mentioned in 1/12 Gen XL)
