If your MR02 has problem within 2 meters, that may be a problem of the antenna. Did you do any modification such as changing the antenna or does the antenna (wire) get loose from the circuit board?
(You can check one thing and then another by borrowing people's transmitter, band and cars...until you locate the problem.)
