for play at the out side 1/25 is it too small or go for 1/16 ?

Hi, I also have the 1/25 Chieftain, it is quite good but a little bit pricey for the material used on the tank i think. Anyway, the overall performance is acceptable. So if you want to take the tank outside i think it can handle but not in the extreme rough terrain. If you compare it to the 1/16 tank, it may seems a little bit small but consider the price between these two scale, 1/16 tank means more expensive and so is up to you.

1/25 scale tank.When you play outside is too small,
1/16 scale will be better play outside. But 1/16 is too explansive,
if you are first time to play, you can choice one cheaper, M4 sherman.

today I went to KWS but can't find 1/16 in KWS
1/16 is a kit or RTR ?

around how much for the 1/16 tank?

If you choose a Tamiya tank, it is a kit that you need to assemble and need more skill and more complication and more expensive like cost you around $3000~5000 than making a R/C car.  So something you need to consider before rushing into a 1/16 tank hobby, e.g. price, quality, type, etc. I know that there are some cheaper tank like Henglong in the market, but i don't know the actual information about this brand, maybe other brothers can help you with this.

the cost should be fine if step by step upgrade.  

But now I will go for 1/25 tamiya tank first let see see it like it how much sin keke

yesterday I wnet to KWS to buy something for my mini Z

OH!mini Z, I have got one before, is F-40, I addition brake light and lens LED,
Also  add brake disk for four wheels, but my father took it and gave to my sister's son,
its many many years ago.

I think RC tank is suitable for you, but don't drive the tank too fast,
because the tank moves slowly and see the wheels up and down, you will enjoy
its vibration is very interesting. Don't buy the ready to run. 1/16 you can understand how to make it, you can search the tamiya web site.

but its too large for HK, the storage space is a problem
