    I have referred to previous comment by Ching here that you better check the temperature of both ESC and Motor after few laps, which is better if they are around 60 DC.

I think 4.0T is very fast, therefore, you should try using low boost value in mode 3, say #2 or #3. Check temperatures again.

If you feel the speed is low, try re-gearing first and if you still find it is slow then set higher boost in your ESC.

But of course, it would depends on what kind of tracks, ie. more long straight or more cornering. See which setting make you feel better driving with your 1/12 pan car. I am still learning from that ^^
