The Demo car seems to be the same as DB01 back in the days=> bushed motor setup. However, DB01 can handle bushess system because of its belt drive design. It seems that DB02 is more direct drive and has less room to give, Slipper pad replacement tends to occur more frequently.... Look forwards to review test reports...
The major reason I think, is to place the motor like the way you can on a belt drive car, so to eliminate the torqe effect on typical shaft drive car, but at the same time still have all the advantage of a shaft driven car. Whetherit works or not we will have to wait and see.
