Mugen bulldog airshock dissection

Mugen Bulldog sold in 1985 said it has this special air shock. It was preassembled and can't be opened for service. Now I have one to dissect and open up. An interesting coil, o-ring on the piston, seriously nothing more than just a friction damper

氣壓避震……就係咁簡單

所以部廿幾年車都無溜汽哈哈

that was why I bought Bulldog but the airshock did not work well at all...

你解答了我心裡30年的疑問！
原來入面咁簡單

好假既氣壓避震,原來裡面"裝彈弓", 真係好有CY feel, 無限:我冇講過我冇裝彈弓

按首頁的縮圖入來以為是無刷摩打心原來是古時的避震

去年在倉底, 找到了一對全新!

入面當然有空氣而非真空
而活塞活動時亦會有氣體被壓缩
但係同條彈弓彈力/回彈力比較可能同Tamiya無油膠避震効果一樣

又唔係喎，佢真係有吸震效果架，我漏氣果支就同無油油壓一樣跳跳下喇！

Man... I had one of those... Went to 麼頓台 all the time back then..... Faster then all other hotshot/Optima etc... Car was fast...I even ran it with those 1/8 Serpent back then,,, . But hard to get parts...(興記 there....)

I wondered how it worked for many years, thank you for solving the mystery
