ABC Gambado Gear Chew Problems

Do u guys have issues chew gears? Normally either the gear box 20T gear or the gear diff outside gears got chewed up... It gets frustrating because I am on my third set of gear diff and 20T

I am running on a 13T hobby wing (3000kv) Brushless motor and Hobbywing 80a WP esc

I tried threadlocking the screws for the 20T and 25T and switched to metal versions (20T&25T) of these gears as well.. I may considering use "Steel" version of the shaft as well...


Love the car... HATE these things from happening all the time!

Modify 4pcs screws which for gear box mounting to countersunk head.

8.5T, 21t pinion gear, HW2.1NA
Due to club race with my friend. I will change to 13.5T with turbo.

Gear diff also.

so 13.5T with turbo no problem? I am always afraid to install a ESC with turbo because of gear chew
and running gear diff not ball diff... ok... thanks!
Just replaced my gear diff and like you said use FLAT head screws instead of button screws on transmission mount. (gear diff housing)

What tires you are running on the track?

小龍 Ching... you mentioned that you are running 13.5T with turbo... how is performace so far? will it chew gears? What ESC settings you are running?
