[AWD問題]換完中軸有雜音

我想請問是否中軸頭用金屬齒輪的原故?

因為換完中軸,直濕Bearing之後開車時有雜音

所以請教改善方法

1. You ought to fix the spur gear to centre axle with some glue and ensure a certain clearance.

2. The gear meshing between the gears of the centre axle and the differential gears should be carefully adjusted using 8x10mm shims.

3. If adjusted well, the noise will fade away later after some run-in.

Billy got good points, but I think if it is for the Kyosho metal differential, it should be 6 x 8mm shims.

6x8 is put between the bearing and the differential. 8x10 can be placed between the bearing and the front bulkhead, that is, the chassis.

Any difference you sense between using the shims for diff vs shims for the bulkhead?

The accuracy of the clearance lasts longer if you use 8x10 outside.
