Just got this recently....the very very original Calsonic GTR....if anyone of you can remember...this kit does come with the paint and the original blue nuts along with a Sport Tune motor......i like it soooo much~~~

The whole car was built from the 1990 Kit........so everything is original..even the color paint....

the chassis is from the original chassis that came with the Sport TUne...

I love GTR...its one of those few car produced by a Japanese manufacteurer that represent its superb racing record!

I'm so jealous!!!
The Corona EXIV was my first touring car..but mine was poorly done and was cracked badly after 30 runs or so and it was discarded....
How did you find yours...with such excellently done stickers??

I got those from overseas auctio site...:-)

and i have to say..i cant understand how can they apply the sticker so well..i mean REALLY well!!!

The practice is using soap/ detergent water so that you can slide the sticker in place. When dried no bubbles...
For some tricky area you need to use hair blower VERY VERY CAREFULLY to make the sticker fits.
Of course patience and skillful hands are important!

may i ask if using the hair blower...should i use light warm air....or cold air to blow into the shell please?

Yes indeed!
This Corona Exiv's decal is notoriously difficult to apply & is very very tricky. The builder of this car must have very good hands!
so jealous ....

Use hot or warm air. Hard to say, all depend on the situation. If the air is not warm enough, no effect. If too hot, then the sticker's adhesive will melt and the sticker may curl...so must be very careful. I avoid using blower so far as possible...

Its TA01 or TA02....shaft driven 4WD
