Make sure your 3.7V Li-Po do not over charged. It is better to keep the

There is no need to balance charge 1 cell. Balancing is only for multi-cell lipos.
Newer ESCs will support 1S and have lipo cut for 1 cell. (SXXv2 and Tekin RS etc)
For older ESC w/o lipo cut, just stop playing when the car slows down.
