標題: HPI Cup Racer 入手!

上星期買左架Cup Racer淨車，對呢架車都有D fantasy，設計好似好多變化，好想試好耐，但呢度好小comment就算有多數都好差，不如就試下。

架車就整到六六七七，發覺有D怪問題，唔知淨係我定架車quality。

1) D 鑼絲六角粗牙(膠牙)個六角批位好似比平時 "雙星, HPI, Take Off....." fit 好多，有D要用D力先入到，反而D金屬牙無呢個問題。
2) 又係鑼絲, 2.5mm, 3mm, 美制4/40都出現係佢既身上。
3) 尾波箱隻傳動鈾連住 Bevel Gear 16T入粒bearing 要強力加粗暴先"park"得入，但係前波箱同一位置又無呢個問題？
4) 四條萬向頭~Axle shaft要非常用力先入到轉向杯個bearing位，有小小緊相信要D時間令佢自然損耗。

另外想問下玩緊呢架車既師兄，你地係唔係用返原裝油壓？係咪一定要換彈弓？我睇rctechD外國人話好多都換TRF落去玩。
早前有師兄提及佢好多嘢都mount係upper deck, 係咪body roll大左？容易cup?

仲有隻珠差其實都幾順，設計同pro4差不多一樣，係隻牙換上金屬。
牙差如果用佢條最硬既彈弓，效果都有直sub90%，用我扭有D痛。
外國有人換上Pro4頭直用，啱位無問題，換言之佢既頭單/珠差都啱用，換有真係輕盈好多。

Hi there, I'm a Cup Racer user too, I have just changed the spring but use the stock shocker, seems ok! If you use TRF shocker, may not be able to use the IFS set up!

good to here that i'm not alone playing with this bees, which type spring set (soft or hard) you bought?
i try to install the TRF but size are too big (circumference) in the front with laydown setting.
about the rear the TRF only can fit if 210mm apply (not 225mm) wheelbase in the rear, same issue as front if 225mm on it.

could you show us your cup racer setting and layout with pics?

啱啱再整左D，upload 小小相，換左option 金屬中鈾(原裝成隻膠做，外國某討論區好多車主都投訴容易難)，唔好理換左先！

油壓~決定試整下，但發覺油壓拍圓週尺寸同油壓筒內壁非常之fit，上落都"啜"住唔多順，各位師兄會唔會用沙紙執執佢？

橫掂都係，落唔落套EXOTEK CRX graphite kit 好？

理論上Pro既 spool可以用落去cup racer，吊轉應該都得，得我試下confirm你。

油壓一於用返TRF(橫掂都有係度)，但因油壓尺寸大過原裝一定距離，要用介子向外推黎安裝盡量無咁容易"high"到搖脾等等。

oh i c, you have a HPI cup racer hard spring set with original oil plastic shocks?
did you found that the shock moment is not smooth enough up and down?
could you show me some pics of your car??

Yes, I think you're right, what you have done could be better then mine (Tamiya shock). The HPI shocks are too thin!! Will post some pix later!

The IFS (front shocker) setting dose not work very well, I've just changed to vertical setting, will test it tomorrow and will share some thoughts after!!

nice car! mine's only put the TRF damper and front alum. drive cup, and i found many option/set up parts on your car which is very nice, did you change the axle shaft and drive cup from plastic to alum.? what brand is it? and what about the steering hubs, are they from HPI or Jet racing?

awaiting for your test drive report.

Well, after a few crashes....... had to replace it with stronger parts. The drive cup is GPM's, and the steering hub is HPI's! Anyway, I've tested the car again today (no crashes today lucky), the stand up shocker set up seems to be better. May be I have used a hard anti-roll bay, the car became too stiff and spin out all the time. I'll change it with a soft one and see how it goes!!

i couldn't found on their website they carry the drive cup (center shaft drive cup) or Axle shaft (the universal shaft) anyway, i may order some option parts from HR.

The hard spring and hard anti roll bar should not make the car spin as i know a little knowledge on setting, did you check the front and rear suspension parts and damper can move up and down smoothly? make sure 4 wheels is on the road when you apply the corner and turning, what tire are you using now?

i still searching any shell can fit on the cup racer, the Tamiya mini cooper is too short in the front, not fit.

Any cup racer player can tell me what type of body you are using now?

Anyone have an idea of what tires to use?? I have tried form 30D or Tamiya slick tires, the car still spins out alot

you may try SWEEP or TEAM POWER pre glued tire set.

Tried 30r foam tires, it's ok for the first 5 mins, after the tires gets too warm it starts spin out again!!!!
