I am using a LRP GT-3 Turbo, 17x2 turns, 28100rpm

And I realized that it doesn't have bearing in the motor, and I feel I have less than 5min run time. First I felt the car was quite fast, but now I feel it's not very fast... (as my skill improved

)

My question is.... if I buy a Trinity Chameleon2 19T motor, will my car be faster? Longer run time?

If you want to improve the run time, you have to buy batteries with brands (like Orion, Reedy..... etc) as I told you before. In your case, your current run time is too short for using 3300 mAh batteries (supposed you haven't over geared). Buy some better batteries and you won't regret.

You have to cut the armature commutator (by motor lathe) and replace the brush after running for some time period. Otherwise the performance will be come down. That's why people switch to play brushless motor now.

Want run faster, below are some options (19T and 27T, could be easy to get in US):

Since "edmundsfc" is living in USA....... that why I suggest him to buy 19T and 27T (only modified, 19T, 27T race in US, no 23T)...... Actually, those dyno tuned 27T racing motor could run faster than a 23T motors, even faster than racing 23T....... and of course, those racing 19T are crazy fast (compare with 23T).

I got a Trinity Co27 to replace my 17T that come with my RTR set, and the result......

Just a little bit slower, but feel the car has more torque, and greatly improved run time. I can run for over 10min compare to 5-6min before.

Best of all, I can use that motor to race
