標題: F104pro換大齒一問
在下架F104pro原裝只有104T同93T，選擇太少，想換過個大齒，但是今日去買大齒過陣見到，kawada過D齒同孖星原裝104T過個齒中間個孔徑是唔一樣ga，敢點算啊，唔知有冇C兄曉點搞啊，一或裝其他牌子ga大齒落去呢？請教下小弟啊

    如果你用星星 出比ff03 果隻102大齒 or 出比tb03果隻96大齒(基本上星星出ge大齒)..係可以放到12粒珠珠tim~~~行12粒珠好順~~~~

個大齒係放得越對差速反應越好，當轉彎時個差的功能係越好的，但見f103/f104好似最多係放得8-10粒珠，星星係唔同，但選擇有限

星星F103 and 104 standard only 得6粒珠，

sorry !無講清楚。唔係指星星的f103/104 standard大齒 ，係指星星出的96t 102t 105 t 個d 0.4 大齒 for tb03 ff03 ta05 ，不過好易掃大齒。

Very good wor if ok, so just to check if can confirm, is there any modification on F104  required in order to use Xenon 64P??

C-Hing, 我今天买了给 F104 用, 但不fit wor...  你有没有加 O- Ring / special bearing (what size) 阿?
内是 9.5mm (3/8in), 但是F104 是8mm . . . HELP

Ahh, I see I see, thx C-Hing, use the 3 Racing part.  So does that mean [u]no[/u] bearings needed between the main gear and the shaft?  Only use the 賽鋼介子?

Yes, no need bearings between of the Spur gear and the shaft, Only use the 賽鋼介子.

And 3racing say this product Used 64 pitch Spur Gear possible! Recommend Used Xenon Spur Gear.

Thx C-Hing, I have order the 3 Racing rings (賽鋼介子).  But I also made a good discovery to share with C-Hing.

[Stupid me... ]  I realise I also bought a steel TRG shaft option for F104 before.  It is expensive ($1xx), but as it turns out, it does three things:-
a) steel being stronger

b) the steel extends the "entire length" so the original tamiya "internal" silver aluminium part of the diff assembly is not needed.  As such the whole diff structure is a lot stronger (I actually bent the entire diff assembly in a bad crash before >$1xx damage as a whole new diff is required)

c) "This is the nice discovery" .  The TRG shaft also gives the option to use 1/12 or Xenon Main gears.  The gear portion of the shaft is 1/4in in diameter, and as a result, with a 3/8 x 1/4 bearing, I can fit the Xenon gear straight onto the TRG shaft.  See picture.

Hope this is a useful tip/option for others wanting to use Xenon or 1/12 gears (with 3/8 in hole).  
I will still need the 3-Racing rings (賽鋼介子) for use with standard F104 shaft and diff.

I think so... , the 3 Racing part number is actually called F103RM-11 賽鋼介子.  See link from henrylaw C-Hing above.

not sure, I guess it depends on the internal hole diameter of the main gear .  The Xenon one is 3/8 in (around 9.525mm).
