May be my tail motor of my CB100 is of super quality . I have had more than 1000 flight and crashed hardly for many times it still working fine . The worst case was just broken wires at the connection outside the motor and the rotor came apart. Just push it back and re-solder the connections then it work again perfectly.
BTW, I have got a spare tail motor just in case it really broken inside. I won't bother to re-wound it.作者: khho01 時間: 2011-3-21 09:07

well said, I do the same , never fly it non-stop so that the motor last much longer. Adding some lubrication to the shaft can help too. Also make sure the small washer between the rotor and stator is in place after pushing back the rotor.
I don't think this tail motor is so easy to break if you take good care of it. At least much better than those brushed tail motor. It is just my point of view and from my experience of my CB100.
