標題: Problem for charging GP4300 -- Orion advantage charger
HI, I got the problem, when i charged the battery GP4300 with the setting Ni-mh 4900mah,  3mv, 5a, repeak delay off, trickle charge off, temperature 50. The charger  stopped as only charging 500mah. It showed that the peak had been established. Does anyone know what is the problem?

Did you do any deep discharge for the GP4300 battery?

gp-4300 is not 4300mah

you set 4900mah maybe too high

Those all are new batteries.

if they are new, don't set 5a.........try 3.5a. it does make it last longer

可能排電接足不良

係咪新電仲未開咁.  放到無粒 0.9v. 用底 amp 來叉.  叉到足一足..  跟住放晒佢..  先用 5amp 或六amp叉啦...  新電有時會係咁..  
你有無equalizer..

I used CTX-D2 to discharge the battery already so the voltage should reach 0.9v at each of battery. I think the problem was what pat1111 stated "排電接足不良".

I had a similar problem.... it's a 3800 stick pack , charge stop at 1500, and run time very very short.  And one of the cell got very hot after run.  

Then, I dis-assembled it to side x side, and use a Trinity DPD discharger to discharge each cell to 0.9v.....  the battery is back to life!!!
