標題: Mini Z question
Well, hello, I want to play mini z again
I own a MR01, I think, but I totally messed up with my esc, If I want to buy a new one, how much?

so I want to ask the following:

1-What are the differences between MR-01, MR-015, MR-02 (mm, rm?) and awd. Basically, all models.
2-How much is the esc? for awd and rwd, or can I use it on both?
3-I saw some drifting mini z, so what kind of tires will I need? (I don't want to ones drift too easily)

ESC's are basically all compatible, although the layout maybe be sliiiiiightly different.

the minimum chasis width for mr02 is 5mm wider than AWD/mr01/mr015
this gives u a constraint in using bodies on mr02

the minimum lenght of a mr02/015-MM chasis is 98mm (94mm if using aftermarket parts)
this gives u a constraint in using bodies on MM chasis.

drifting mini-zs are AWDs, basically AWD is a 4WD mini-z, around 30% more costy than mr02/015's

a set of mr02/015 is around $8xx, while AWD $10xx

btw, don't buy an esc, not worth it.

and AWDs...either they drift all the time or they don't, depends on the setting, haha ~

so which means... I can still use the MR01 bodies on AWD?

If, only if, my awd esc is all mess up, then... buying a band new one is better than buy the esc alone? Or change the chassis layout and use novak's spy? compare, the spy and the mini z esc, the spy is much cheaper, right?

the best way to save in your case is to get a mr-015 chasis only set $5xx i think. then u can use almost all of your mr01 stuff on the mr015, (most, not all)
also u get slightly improved performance.

or u can simply go buy the Golf mr015 ready set when it comes out.

well, I just heard that MR01 is hard to drift, though.

其實miniz既pcb已經係combine左esc,reciver and servo
你1:10既電子野咁大件

Do you mean transmitter?

If so, most transmitters (Futaba, Ko Sanwa) should work if you choose AM.
