標題: My Tamiya TA01
Here is my TA01 for the Calsonic Skyline GTR 32

Been collecting parts to make up this one for a while, finally its here...

Has the vintage pink damper, graphite damper stay, full bearings, metal gears, suspension arm pins, King Pin........and the Top Force Carbon plate, .what a union with the top force buggy...~

Lovely TA01... Was the shell came with the chassis or those Philippines repro??

The body was the original R32 that i posted b4.....my one is the original one....like this

I remembered the offset of this wheel set can be changed by turning over the "wheel plate" to the other side....... very smart design......

我部TA-01都係R32車殼，但奇怪的是前後波箱及其他膠料都是紅色的....
未知是什麼原因...

I change my gear box casing to Black lor! Thats the reason!

the black gear boxes are for the buggy series (with the plastic long shock towers included).....

while the red ones are for the touring series (with the small shock towers for touring cars).....

the silver gear boxes ae even more rarer ......this is only for the 911 GT2 car kit......

Yes...you are correct, the silver casing is the most rare...

However the black gearbox did use for touring by Tamiya before, there was this kit fromTA02 Special Racing kit (can also be called as TA02 TRF during those day), that one is with black gear casing as standard...hehe

yes.... I think the black ones are more stylish.......that's why my TA01 mini also changed to black gear boxes.....
