標題: Mountaineer......rebuilding
This Mountaineer was bought from Japan Yahoo at a buy it now around 28,000 yen (quiet a bargain

) almost 2 years ago. Surprisingly the condition is very good although the body have something missing. I have a shelf queen Bruiser already so this one will be my runner. I get the chassis to metal plated as this part is very easy to rust. I hope I can finish the whole chassis this week.

Wow, can you please tell me how to get metal plating done? I would like to do the same to my Bruiser.
I'm tired of polishing, as the metal will get rusty again soon, consider the humid weather in HK.

The shop is located in 灣仔, 隆安街 or 吉安街 near 石水渠街(灣仔街市對面馬路) , I do not remeber the name (almost one year ago). This is a small workshop. I remeber the cost is about $500 for the chassis include all seperate parts. Hope you can find it.

Why didn't you plate the gearbox or axle carriers too?

Tiger1 :Those parts will not get rust. And I do not want my car look like a jewels if plated the whole car

Actually, I should get it mat finished instead of mirror finished.
