Hi Ben,

Are you using handpull, rotostart or starter box when starting your engine?

Usually when you crank the engine and the fuel isn't going through the fuel line,
there are some common causes.

1. Leakage in the exhaust system
2. Broken / leaking fuel line

With #1, is the exhaust mounted at an "abnormal" angle?
Try to confirm that the exhaust header and straightly pressed against the engine's exhaust outlet.
With #2, just visually check the fuel tube: Do you see any air bubbles in the fuel line?

Try to check these 2 popular causes first,
and see if you find anything  =)

Personally when I start my engines,
I don't "prime" the fuel line.
I simply disconnect the fuel line from the carb,
hold the car/buggy so the fuel tank is above the line, so I can get the fuel to run through to the very end.
Then I connect the fuel line to the carb when the fuel line is free of bubbles  =)
This way you don't have to keep cranking the engine until the fuel reaches the carb.

Feel free to PM me if problems persists
Let's hope it's either one of these 2 common and easily-fixed issues.
Otherwise it might be a leak somewhere else in the engine.
The engine might've been poorly sealed from the factory.
