Can I use two 7.4V 10c LiPo batteries for my Starter box??

I am using Mugen Pro starter RII (2x 540 motors)

Because it seems using LiPo is lighter

咁富貴?

同埋好易放死舊電喎好似.......

of course yes, indeed the price of Premium LiPo3300 dropped to about $300 plus now.

you may even try one of those 11.1V LiPo, this combination is even lighter although you need to have a suitable charger and change the circuit of your starter box.

btw mugen starter is already very light when compared with others like Q-World....................don't be too lazy lar

Because I saw that a new 10c 7.4v LiPo is selling at $160 in our second hand forum.

Actually the selling price of a 10C 700mah 3.7V lithium-polymer cell can be sold at around $10 HK @. I have now 2 cars running on the li-po 7.4v. They run with a 45-turn motor or else the current may kill the battery. Use a balanced charger and your cell can last longer.

does it imply those LiPo batteries you got were not suitable for quick discharge but may be suitable for other non-quick discharge RC purpose.

Stupid me. I did wrong post. I was talking about my Mini-z.

But I am still able to tell that 10C is not enough for a 540 (probably 2x) starter because the initial current draw of a starter is terrifying.

the LiPo you are talking about is likely to be the ones i am selling.

using two LiPo batteries at the same time can definetely provide enough power to your dual-540 motor starter.

once you find the starter not powerful enough, it's time to charge the batteries.

it's strongly recommanded that you use a balance charger.

i have balance charger ar~~

i am just not sure if the 10C provides enough power jar.

hehe, YES i am talking about the LiPO u are selling~

right, the discharging ability of 5000mAh 10c is the same as 2500mah 20c, both are 50A.

lead acid battery will die if u do not charge it again when voltage is low.....

What should I do for the lead acid battery maintenance.
作者: xrvct    時間: 2007-10-5 02:28
charge the battery when the voltage is low.

if it's not use for a long time, charge it once every month.

thanks for your advice !
