2006 Dirt Nitro Challenge
The 2006 Dirt Nitro Challenge in Southern California brought out record crowds this year. With over 500 entries The Dirt in Hemet California would be proving grounds for the 2006 race season as it is the first international race of the year. The largest class with the most entries was none other than the Truggy class which was quite a surprise to most attendees and media.
CEN Racing had kept a very low key secret regarding this particular class. CEN brought out a new prototype truggy that had never been seen before. Andrew Smolnik drove the incognito truggy (with a white disguised body) to an impressive A main showing!
The Truggy A main event would prove which truggies illustrated not only speed and great handling, but most important, durability! Andrew Smolnik and CEN Racingˇs all new Proto-Type Truggy made an impressive showing with an outstanding 4th place finish!
Congratulations to team CEN on their great performance at the 2006 Nitro Challenge.
