well... more or less same as ATM's design, but I think this one is more rigid tahn ATM as its made of metal.

ATM has a CF + alloy + plastic version, i think will be better.

Actually , i think ATM's is more reliable and more beautiful
but i think Eagle Racing's will work but not good looking as it's over-blue's colour !~

I just bought ATXx 's so called MA010 pro kit but neither the package nor the installation manual tells us that it is only for 94 mm. It is a kind of cheating! People may assume that it is like the original parts or similar to atx's first version that can also allow 90mm wheel base. Because there is the label "Made in Hong Kong", I wish the company can add a phrase "ONLY FOR 94mm" to indicate its use. Or else, I can report this to the consumer council. (千祈唔好就咁出口去美加或者歐洲添呀,要維護吓香港既聲譽)

You are not observant enough. The photo you got shows the earlier version the the ATxx SAS, not this pro kit (with C-FRP and metal parts).

It is a kind of "false claim". If the company can print an installation manual, why doesn't it include this piece of information on the paper?
Even if the Consumer Council can't do anything, people can certainly go back to the shop to ask for a refund if they intended to use the product on a 90mm chassis. That would cause a lot of inconvenience. ATx should be responsible for its products and its "carelessness".

I really wish every HK company can do better than this.

i'm not familiar with commercial laws, however, only thing iknow is that it's a civil matter, u'll have to use ur own time and money first before u get them back (the money only)

back to mini-z, so u originally planned to use it on a/some 90mm shells? which is it? i would like to have one for my AWD too.

Sounds like you are working for the company.
If I return it to the shop, the shop owner will certainly give me a refund, but it is just giving him trouble. Can't the ATx be more responsible to prevent problems from happening (just by including a few more words on the package)?

Or they intended not to add those words to make more people buy the products?

Whether the shop gives a refund should depend on whether the consumer is right or not.
People nowadays are not able to tell the wrong from the right.

Because the shop owner isn't only a middle man. He is responsible for all the products he sells. (百佳既貨出左問題,佢都唔會叫你自己番去生產商換啦!)

The product has a label saying that it is for MA010 but is now not compatible with 90mm. If you are careful, you should have learnt that the first and many MA010s come with 90mm body shells. I certainly have the right to return it. The shop owner should have warned me on that if he knew it. If he didn't know it, he certainly has the right to return the product to ATx because the company should have given this piece of information to the shop.

You are saying everything not on behalf of a consumer. It sounds like you wouldn't ask for a refund if you were treated the same way. If you were me who bought the product and prepared to use it with a 90mm body shell, I guess you would have to save it for collection purposes.

Don't forget everyone (including shopkeepers) is a consumer but not everyone is a shopkeeper. YOU might be the next one if people just let it go so easily.

if u go into a shop an buy power saving light bulbs to replace a conventional light bulb at home
on the package it say 8W = 40W, and u expect that the power saving ones are direct replacement
then at home you find out that it does not fit becoz the size of the power saving light bulb is too large
i don't think the customer will be entitled for an exchange, there is no fault on the product size, nor any 'false claim' or 'mislead'

unless... in the process of transaction, there were some conversation between the customer and the shop which formed part of the 'contract' and the discussion was capable of and in fact did lead to the customer purchasing the item.

but if some of u wants to talk on moral issues, then i'm not intrested, coz it will only be an endless discussion

No. But its name on the package is MA010 SAS Pro kit. The earlier version (SAS) can support both 90mm and 94 mm.

First, your example is not a good comparison. No bulb's packages mention the name or model of the light, but the SAS pro-kit mentions it is for MA010, which is a model name. (Please refer to the previous post and be more careful next time.)　何況燈泡去"實ｘ"或"日ｘ城"買唔妥可以換過.

Second, it is not just a moral issue, but also a problem of justice. If you are not interested, you are not required to post so many replies.

If there hadn't been anyone arguing with me saying that I was the one who was wrong, I wouldn't have posted so many replies on this topic.

I guess ATX is growing both in popularity and its business, so this should be the time the company produces higher quality products and builds up its reputation. I appreciate its acknowledgement on the use of Fets when using its modified motors. I appreciate the performance and endurance of its AD stock and T2. I appreciate the tyres which are of excellent traction. I appreciate the QC and the precision of their "dish" rims which are comparable to those of the original rims.I appreciate the company's creativity in inventing so many different/ unique products for the mini-z series..and many many. Most importantly, the SAS Pro-kit is also of excellent quality that I seldom find in local products. How regretable it would be if it couldn't fit a 90mm body shell and is not informing people! That's why I hope the company can improve on the problem I mentioned just by adding a few more words on the package saying that the product makes a 94mm wheelbase.

Indicating that the product can only be used with a 94mm body shell might have made you lose my purchase and some others this time, but it will certainly win you back a lot of later business when people begin to trust your company.

What I wanted to say is: A good reputation is priceless.

coz hk is such a small market ... look at thos overseas sites that sell pre-built full option mini-z for over 500 usd, and look at those 'full metal' cars that americans like to make.

and u don't need to high light ur words in red, i think only me and one ore two other memebers are reding them

btw, what can we do to 'help' a company that has nth to do with us improve (in the problem that u mentioned)

i've sent emails long time B4 regarding their bearing motors cases won't allow the rotor of other brands
i've sent emails to a big local brand with photos explaining fatal faults on their products (at the end they just let me exchanged for other stuff)
they're not large companies like kyosho or tamiya afterall

if u send email to kyosho japan making complaints on it's dealer in hk, they'd really refer it to the dealer in hk. i've even received a small gift later =p but again...

if one day the local brand are large enough to support a customer service team, then our dreams would come true

Even though HK is a small market, there are foreigners coming to buy products sold here.
Also, I guess ATx is exporting its products to other countries and the quality of both its products and its services affects the image of Hong Kong, especially when the words "Made in Hong Kong" are not small. If the company does well, any Hongkonger will also feel proud of it. Good examples are like GxP battery or Xpresxx (in the past).
