I am not so sure whether both V120D6 and my V120D2 are using the same gyro control software. But for flying performance (I'm not flying 3D), the mCPX is much better.
BTW, V120D6 is not using brushless main motor. Performance might drop after some flights.
So those flybarless models (e.g v120 series) are not so good when comparing with mCPX? I am interested in V120D6, cos its the cheapest 6ch flybarless model,,,if V120d1/2 are just fair,,I may not go for V120d6!
Once I thought they were pioneers in making micro-sized RC helis especially those flybarless versions. I bought 2 of these (a 120VD01 and a 120VD02) and my comment is they are fragile (both plastic and metal parts) and the 3-axis gyro is not performing good.
Once I got the mCPX, I can say it flys a lot much better even without any metal parts. For a flybarless micro heli, the 3-axis gyro is more predictable / controllable and the performance can be comparable to larger helis using flybar system.
I like them mostly on their product design and performance of such smaller size heli. The CB100 tail motor is fine provided you can make a good soldering job after crash but still much better than those brushed motor.e.g the MSR 's tail motor.
