Considering everything Losi has provided in the transmission, it's a rather compact unit. Located on the top of the transmission, near the spur gears, is the gear-range selector. This knob can be twisted to select either the high or low range gear sets. Both gear sets feature two speeds, but they differ in the speeds offered by each set of gears. The low gear set offers lots of low end torque for climbing, while the high range offers the speeds that most of us crave. With this feature, Losi has provided the best of both worlds. |
