TNRacing TA05 mini

Got my TN05 mini running, will take it to the track soon, thought I would share some photos

Very nice ,is it a convension kit?

Yes, the kit is by TN Racing Japan. I've been told they are limited to 66 kits only. The kit consists of the chassis upr & lwr, shock towers, blue alloy motor/spur mounts, alloy steering plate and the rear belt. The battery plate is a TN option, and the rest is all Tamiya parts either M03, TA05 or TG10 .. I put the Cross reinforced arms on there and the Tech alloy uni's in the rear.

Finally got around to adding the bill:

Tamiya universal shaft = 2000
Tech Racing Universal = 2000
Tamiya TG10 susp shaft set = 400
Tamiya TL01 susp shaft set = 400
Tamiya 5mm short adjusters = 150
Tamiya TA04 racing body mount set = 600
TB Evo 3 battery holder = 500
Tamiya TA04 king pins = 150
Tamiya alu pilo ball = 600
Tamiya TA05 front direct coupling = 2000
Tamiya TA05 centre oneway set = 3000
Tamiya TA05 Drive belt = 500
Total = 36700yen ($308USD)
+
Tamiya TA05 clear blue bulk head = $11USD
Tamiya TA05 clear blue upper frt & rr brace = $6USD
Grand total = $325USD
+ a ball diff for the rear which I took from my TA05 touring car, bearings for the diff which I had, plus a body and wheels & tyres, spur & pinion. Quite expensive in the end.

I have put 2 packs through, it works really well, feels like a touring car to drive, I need to test again with different tires, I was using the ABC super MGR slicks and the car slid a little bit in the corners, good fun

I pre-ordered mine in May 2006 with Rainbow 10, it didn't arrive until November 2006!!!

Rainbow 10 is one of the easiest online japanese stores to order from. Although they charge full retail yen price, their service is excellent, and if a product is not listed on their site they will do special orders/back orders if they are able to.
