買了這個電希望可以玩耐D

How much ?
係咪一次要用2排?
可以玩幾耐 ?

我想問吓, 如果用LiPo電, Summit ESC係咪有自動Cut電功能架?
要唔要加BB呢?

我用 8500mah 要用兩排 大約$300一排
試過玩45分鐘仲有電！

Brushless is ok, make it faster and more efficiency ... however, for a Crawler/Trailer all weather truck, you want to keep it to run smooth and water proof ...  

So the problem is, you want it sensored to run it smooth, but then no more water proof, you go water proof such as Mamba Monster 2, then not smooth at all ..  (one reason Traxxas keeps it brushed)

I have one BL and one Brushed Summit, was switching the BL one back to brushed ..   

What I feel right is running the Brushed set up with 5s.. good power, and still sort of water proof .. (may not want to drive the Truck with lipo to water .. but a bit of wet is ok)  many people swapped to the Dewalt motor for more power, I may give it a try when my Titan 775 toasted!

Yes,  I have read thur other forums, it seems Dewalt drill motor is a good choice for upgrading the Summit, it brings much for torque. But it costs $800 for a brand new Dewalt motor in HK which is more expensive comparing to US or Canada.

WHAT ???  just the motor wor .. not the whole drilling system ..  I think they are around $35 or 40 cad here .....

$800 .. may well buy a sensored brushless system, and "plasti dip" it to make it water proof!

That is true!  I contacted the hardware Shop in HK, they told me the price of the motor that used to replace the drill.

Mamba Monster 2 is probably best... But I think they are not popular in HK ... and not that smooth...  With Summit, don't need 6s brushless system, 4s should be good..

Hobbywing "WP" series is probably best bet in HK. SC8wp+4274 should be great!

我經驗來說，應該係無問題，幾部車都試過浸水玩，D防水電變servo都試過壞，但幾把風扇仲未有事

Summit esc "suppose" to have lipo cut off ..  probably for up to 4s, I forget if I hv to disable the lipo cut off to run 5s ..
