Lipo question

Hi All,

I have a ip lipo 4000, 25c for about 3 months, last night before I play, I read S1 has zero volt!  S2 has 7.78V!!!!  Any brother has experience about this?  Most importantly, can this battery be fixed or should I dispose it?

單CELL冇可能有7.78V咁多
最多4.2V(2 CELL total可以8.4V)

Yes, it does not make sense.  but mini lipo reader measure other lipos reading are normal....   The balance charger cannot charge this battery either...

咁如果其他電係差到冇問題,就有d奇怪
可能舊電死到個讀數都錯埋........但係唔知有冇咁既可能

You can check any disconection or broken of wiring or at the solder joins using a voltmeter.  I have one disconnected at the battery side.

我之前都有 pack 2 cell ip 4000電又係突然間有 1 cell 0 voltage,
分開獨立 check 都係 1 cell 0 voltage, 另外果 cell 正常

可能有一條balance線甩左
因為佢係用totel voltage減其中1cell既voltage計第2cell既
用就唔係用唔到,但係行唔到balance差law

b4 charge: 1 cell = 3.7V, 2 cell = 7.4V, 3 cell=11.1V

I disassumbled the battery and found that one of the balancing wire were loosen.  Both red and black are good=> that is why total voltage is showing 7.7V.  The blue wire was detached from the battery, the battery is back in action after some soldering.  The only thing to do is to glue to casing back together.
