This has been long waited for, and great news for all mini-inferno fan, like me ha ha . . .. . (I think this is the reason why company like 3-Racing and Atomic kept on producing spare parts even today, they probably knew . . . ).
From the list of new things two key points really great:-
a) all electronics are now popular standard configuration and no longer use "strange" four wire servo connection and radio receiver and esc are all separate
b) notice the front reinforcement arm is now moved to the top rather than on the bottom, which should strengthen the old weak front chassis.
The best thing is also, I think, its a very popular car world wide and has many upgrade parts available. While many C-Hing upgrades the whole car, the basic car can be made to run very fast with only a few basic mods (as the car is quite solid already in my mind) like diffs, gears and brushless.
Here is one I done for my son running with two cells (motorcycle battery) and 5700k 370 brushless (12T). Its really quick and fun. The car is mostly like original with plastic parts (including plastic shocks), except with a special DIY mod to allow the use of single lipo-2cell, by moving the servo mounting.
For one I use Hitec 81MG which fits, for another one I use an old KO 2000 FET which is big like 3003. For the big one, need to make DIY modification to fit. Its not necessary if you are running the standard mini inferno and 81MG is good enough as its quite quick also for me. In my mind, I would not waste time fitting 3003 as it is quick standard and slow.
