Xray XII pinion choice in JV?

I would like to ask what pinion gear for JV with 5.5T motor? Xray XII come with 96 spur gear. Thank's a lot!!

you can start with 24 and go up if you want more straight line speed

Hi Edwin, I have no problem using 22/96 or 24/96 with 4T during cornering.
Suggest you should try in the track first ^^

JV is a big track for 1/12 so I prefer higher top end speed. But it depends on your driving style so you need to try.
