I use XL5 water proof ESC from traxxas (blue color) and 35T as well as 27T motor- all brushed.

If you mainly run on trail, 27 better.  More climbing may choose 35.  They are fairly cheap anyways. Also, pinion gear (teeth) is important too; this will affect the speed and torque.

多謝意見, 我估我都會整個35T, 再整個18牙大齒看門口 (scx 10 原廠係20牙).
