After you charge it use it (or discharge) it within 2-3 days. Or you will end up with a big ballon........ I learn the hard way with 2 packs of brand new lipo.......

***Storage***
Unlike certain other types of batteries, lithium polymer batteries can be stored for one or two months without significantly losing charge. However, if storing for long periods, manufacturers recommend discharging the battery to 40% of full charge. In addition, other sources recommend refrigerating (but not freezing) the cell

***Charging***
LiPoly batteries must be charged carefully. The basic process is to charge at constant current until each cell reaches 4.2 V; the charger must then gradually reduce the charge current while holding the cell voltage at 4.2 V until the charge current has dropped to a small percentage of the initial charge rate, at which point the battery is considered 100% charged. Some manufacturers specify 2%, others 3%, but other values are also possible. The difference in achieved capacity is minute.

Balance charging simply means that the charger monitors the voltage of each cell in a pack and varies the charge on a per-cell basis so that all cells are brought to the same voltage.

It is important to note that trickle charging is not acceptable for lithium batteries; Li-ion chemistry cannot accept an overcharge without causing damage to the cell, possibly plating out lithium metal and becoming hazardous. Most manufacturers claim a maximum and minimum voltage of 4.23 and 3.0 volts per cell 低過3V每片電就過放,這片電池就要說再見. Taking any cell outside these limits can reduce the cell's capacity and ability to deliver full rated current.

Most dedicated lithium polymer chargers use a charge timer for safety; this cuts the charge after a predefined time (typically 90 minutes).

1000mah -> 1A 差
2000mah -> 2A 差
3000mah -> 3A 差
4000mah -> 4A 差
5000mah -> 5A 差

Most low discharge (C) battery is recommand to change at 1C by manufacture. so 10,000mah is recommand to charge at 10A. For high discharge battery 50-60C it is recomand to change at 1-2C. The limit is as high as 5C for ｓｏｍｅ　ｂｒａｎｄｓ. LRP recommand to change normal 2S　５０００－６０００ｍａｈ　ｌｉｐｏ　ａｔ　１０Ａ and 1S 1/12 battery at 8A。　　Ｂｕｔ　ｒｅｍｅｍｂｅｒ　ｄｏｎ’ｔ　ｔｒｙ　ｉｔ　ｗｉｈｔ　ａｎｙｔｈｉｎｇ　ｌｏｗｅｒ　ｔｈａｎ　５０Ｃ　。

Hi Sunday hing: Read the manual below, last page recommended charge currents close to the end.

As I said don't try it with low C batteries.

SMC instruction sheet, also mention, 2C to charge is acceptable. As i know a lot of people included myself is using 10A to charge 50C. And some will even use high V to charge it to 4.22-4.23v. After 3-4 months of usage, my SMC battery still keep very flat.

The key is to run it fo 6-7mins, stop playing at around 3.8/cell, let it cool down for another charge cycle.

我用IP 35C電用10A 差仲要高volt (8.5v)差到玩左成年d電都未漲..

我自已覺得漲既原因係:
1. 過放 (底過3.0v /cell)
2. 差滿隔左好耐都唔玩
3. 2cells 差既時候唔平衡
